Most coveted closet award goes to...

This adorable lady is Myka of Sitting Tree Events, the California-based wedding planning company. While most of my outfits always have some sort of nod to tomboy style, my eyes will always light up seeing feathers, ruffles, sequins, and pink next to each other in a closet. Inside Lauren Conrad's Closet

Why do I do this to myself? I enjoy looking into the closets that for my life can be marked as "forever unattainable". We'll call it sartorial masochism.

Hate or love LC, you can't deny the woman's got one helluva closet. The Coveteur peeped her digs and they are....beautiful.

(PICTURE MY HEART RATE.) I love maxi dresses and think they are such versatile and romantic pieces. I wore this nude, tiered chiffon dress (from my first collection for paper crown) with a sash to a ball held at the National History Museum. The silk dress on the right I wore for a photoshoot at my home in Laguna. In the center is a vintage nightgown – I love the little details and bias cut of this particular piece.

"This photo is lovely, very much represents paper crown."

"These [Chanel] shoes were my favorite this winter. I wore them all the time with tights or black skinnies."

"I love vintage jewelery, not only to wear but also to hang around the space Iʼm in. I usually have luck at flea markets or The Way We Wore. The necklace in the center is one of my favorites and often makes appearances in paper crown lookbooks. It's an old hair barrette turned into a necklace. When I am designing for LC Lauren Conrad jewelry, most of the collection is inspired by vintage pieces."

"Clearly, I have a fascination with Chanel. I began collecting old perfume bottles a few years back because I thought they were so pretty. The crown is (embarrassingly) from when I was on the homecoming court in high school."

"Phillip Lim is my favorite designer of all time. I like the shoulder detailing on this top because it reminded me of a sea anemone."

Awww I Wanna Have a Craft Party with MY Friends! (That's Me Whining)

These gorgeous and fun ladies..

... yep these ones right here, are the creative minds behind two of my favorite sites: Sitting in a Tree & Enjoy Events Co. What do they do? Why, they make pretty weddings possible.

Anyhoo, these wonderfully feminine pics are from their "Kate Spade-esque" craft-party photo shoot where they brainstormed all things wedding, party, and girl. Let's have a moment of silence for the prettyness shall we?

"We think that where you live and how you decorate your home really gives us an idea of your overall style and who you are as a person."

God I love being a girl.

Sometimes I Just Like Staring At Girly Things

"A few lucky women have been born with style - but for most of us, style is something that comes with time and experience. Above all style begins with a sense of who you are and your self-confidence. Style comes from opening yourself to the world around you - to book and movies, art, music, travel and especially to other people." - Kate Spade

5 Pretty Things

This midday pick-me-up

A rainbow house. See the whole tour here

Parasols strung at a wedding? How completely gorgeous. See more of the circus-themed wedding over on 100 Layer Cake.

Why use blah cupcake wrappers when you can use really really pretty ones?

These bluebells grow every year in Warwickshire, England. Magical.

Destination wedding done right.

Goosebumps over this house.

Everyone needs a little Shakespeare quoteage in their home.

Girl Crush of Epic Proportions

I think my long-standing girl crush developed in the days where Wednesday nights only meant one thing: "Californiaaaaa, Californiaaaaaaaa, here we coooooome". The OC and Summer Roberts will forever be missed, but I still enjoy keeping tabs on Rachel Bilson and her covetable style. Found her spread in Madison Magazine; this editorial is too good not to share.

I Hope You Have ...

'Tis The Season of Color

'Tis the season of color, so you ought to live colorfully, no? Rainbow-y things to do and try...

1. Paint your lips a fuschia pink (look at her eyes POP!)

2. Three words: popsicle shopping spree (Edy's real fruit bars are the best.)

3. Go on a walk and look at all the natural rich colors that exist in this world -- so cheesy, but seriously

4. Decorate your ice cream with rainbow sprinkles

5. Blend up a smoothie with strawberries & mangoes

6. Sip your morning coffee from your most colorful mug

7. Invest in a pair of colorful cropped skinnies (Gap has some very adorable ones)

8. Dress vibrantly for a night out, a la Jessica Alba

9. Bright red toenails anyone?

10. A bold-hued clutch is the perfect accessory. Let it stand out by keeping the rest of your outfit neutral.

11. Throw a bright, colorful, and happy party with your girlfriends. Why? 'Cause you can.

12. Buy yourself a bouquet of tulips to jazz up your room. You deserve it, trust me.

13. Watch this video & go behind the scenes at one of the most colorful brands out there — Kate Spade, of course!

14. Raspberry sorbet or lemon gelato will cure any bad day (Love those nails!)

15. You are never too old to tie a pretty red ribbon in your hair. Never.

A Sequin-Loving Girl After My Own Heart

"I like sparkly things. I'm a bit of a magpie. I think most girls are." - Blake Lively.

Well said, Blake. On another note, this is the best 'going-out' outfit I've ever seen. In so much love.

A Little R&R is Comin' My Way

While I am certainly (INSANELY) jealous of all of my friends traveling to somewhere that is at minimum 40 degrees warmer than my current location at the moment, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for a full week of rest and relaxation at home. Lounging around, sleeping in, no makeup and messy hair, breakfast in bed, baking, daily soaks in a tub (my greatest deprivation while being at school), I'm fully excited to flip my brain's switch to 'off' for the next couple days...

Wishing you all a wonderful and relaxing SB!
