Sienna Miller's Top 5 Style Rules

There's a certain "style" that seems so unattainable to me. That "Oh whoops, I just threw this all on and it happens to look outstanding" look. This chick knows a thing or two about a thing or two regarding this so called style. So for today my kiddies, are some tips from InStyle for dressing excellently, a la Sienna Miller.

1. Black Tights Go with Everything.
Miller paired her staple black tights with a Matthew Williamson mini on the red carpet in 2009, with a Diane Von Furstenberg shift dress at the Seoul premiere of G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra, and with shorts in 2010.

2. Make the Red Carpet Memorable.
You won't often find Miller wearing basic black on the red carpet. Instead, she opts for scene-stealing dresses like this Valentino she wore to the designer's 45th anniversary party in 2007, a Stella McCartney gown she rocked at the UNESCO Charity Gala and the Pucci dress she wowed in at the Costume Institute Benefit Gala, both in 2010

3. Play with Prints.
Miller has never met a print she didn't like, including this Matthew Williamson dress she wore to the launch of the designer's H&M collection in 2009 and a print shirtdress from Poltock + Walsh she chose for a Sydney press conference for G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra.

4. Stripes Turn a Casual Outfit into Something Special.
Miller layered a striped tee under a sweater in Paris in 2010, paired a striped tank with a full skirt from her Twenty8Twelve line in 2009, and sported a Topshop mini in London in 2010.

5. Sparkle Is a Must.
Miller knows a little shine goes a long way. She wore a Balmain cutoff mini to the after-party for her After Miss JulieBroadway premiere in 2009, a teal backless dress from her own Twenty8twelve line to the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, and a Burberry sparkler to the Costume Institute Benefit Gala in 2006.
